The Challenge
Organize a grand opening cultural festival for 5,000+ visitors at a heritage site, balancing authentic Omani traditions with modern event production and crowd safety across a historic venue.
Our Solution
We created a festival masterplan with heritage zones for crafts and cooking, a performance arena for falconry and traditional dance, a children's heritage activity area, a traditional souk marketplace, and a grand evening projection-mapped show on the fort — all with comprehensive crowd management.
The grand opening of Nizwa Heritage Village attracted 5,000 visitors for a day of Omani cultural celebrations. The event featured traditional crafts demonstrations, falconry shows, camel races, heritage cooking, a traditional souk, and a spectacular evening light-and-sound show projected onto the historic Nizwa Fort walls.
